- Sunday 8:30/10:30 AM Bishop Darrell Hines
Here is a little bit about our speaker: Bishop Darrell L. Hines
In 1981 our first speaker of SEW died after being struck by lightning while working for Republic Airlines in Milwaukee, WI. When he was revived 45 minutes later physicians concluded he would live life in a vegetative state. But God had another plan. After overcoming amnesia, Bishop Hines committed to God, to “…Take care of God’s business, which is to tell a dying world about a living Christ.”
Bishop Hines and his wife Pamela are the founders and pastors of Christian Faith Fellowship Church of God in Christ (CFFC), one of the largest African American churches in the state of Wisconsin. CFFC is comprised of over 130,000 square feet, across two campuses. This includes the Destiny Plaza, which houses Destiny High School, The Good Hope Clinic and a community outreach center. CFFC is also home to Darrell Lynn Hines Academy a grade school educating children grades K4-8.
Darrell Hines Ministries has a global evangelistic ministry that has been instrumental in affecting people of various ethnic, social, and economic affiliations. Bishop Hines maintains a commitment of reverence, obedience, and submission to Jesus Christ by ministering the word of God to the church, and the unchurched.
