October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

It's a time to celebrate survivors, support those who are currently fighting, raise awareness, and remind one another that early detection saves lives.

At MercyGate Church, we care about you.

We know life gets busy. Between work, family, and everything else on your calendar, it's easy to put your own health on hold.

But you matter.

That's why we're partnering with MD Anderson to bring their Mobile Mammography Unit right here to MercyGate Church.

Did you know that 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetime?

And 85% of women diagnosed have no family history of breast cancer.

That's why regular screenings are so important.

A mammogram may not be something you look forward to, but it could be one of the most important 20 minutes you take this year.

Taking care of your health isn't just a gift to yourself—it's a gift to your family, your friends, and everyone who loves you.

Appointments are available for women 40 and older and take about 20 minutes.

As our way of saying thank you for making your health a priority, everyone who completes their mammogram will be entered into a drawing to win:

And if you invite a friend to register, and she lists your name during sign-up and completes her mammogram, you'll receive an additional entry into the drawing.
