Easter Prayer Points-Neighborhood Walk

Prepare an atmosphere of worship by lifting up praise and worship over the city. “Extol the Lord, Jerusalem; praise your God, Zion. He strengthens the bars of your gates and blesses your people within you.” Psalm 147:12-13

• Magnify the name of Jesus above all other names. (Phil. 2:9-11, Isaiah 9:6-7)

• Declare that Jesus reigns over our community and region. (Eph. 1:20-23)

• Read aloud psalms of praise and release God’s word over our region. (Ex. Psalm 34, 65 & 66)

• Praise God for the lost that will be drawn in and the prodigals coming home. (John 12:32)

Declare that our community is a dwelling place for the presence and protection of God. “ ‘And I Myself will be a wall of fire around it,’ declares the Lord, ‘and I will be its glory within.” Zechariah 2:5

• Declare the light of His presence will bring strength and favor to our city. (Psalm 89:15-18)
• Praise Him for His presence which disarms the enemy. (Psalm 31:19-21 & 68:1-2)
• Thank God for His presence which brings truth and uproots deception. (Psalm 101:6-8)
• Invite the fear of the Lord to come and rest upon our community. (Psalm 34:7, Isaiah 8:13-14)

Pray that the light of God’s Truth will expose and eliminate darkness in people’s lives. “In Him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” John 1:4-5

• Bless our city with an increased awareness of God’s truth to light the way. (Ps. 36:9, 1 Pet. 2:9-10)
• Pray for hearts to be stirred and become hungry for the truth. (Matt. 5:6, Ps. 119:103-105)
• Declare an uncovering to the plans and schemes of darkness. (Luke 12:2-3)
• Pray for godly marriages and a strong family unit according to God’s word. (1 Pet. 4:8, Col. 3:2-3, 12-14, Matt.6:33)
*Above all, follow the leading of the Holy Spirit and pray as He instructs you!
