Easter Prayer Points-3 Day Prayer Chain

Enter His gates with thanksgiving and go into His courts with praise!
“Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and a thank offering, and into His courts with praise! Be thankful and say so to Him, bless and affectionately praise His name.” Psalm 100:4
• Picture yourself outside a gate, where you recognize that praise is the ‘pass code’ for entry.
• Begin to thank the Lord for all He has done in your life and watch the gate open!
• Envision your praise as an offering you are bringing before the King. He’s worthy!
• Worship Him and take time to pour your affection upon Him. Fix your eyes on the cross.

Pray over our Easter Festival that our overall purpose and goal will be accomplished.
“For a wide door of opportunity for effectual service has opened to me [a great and promising one] and there are many adversaries.” 1 Corinthians 16:9
• Pray that our leaders and volunteers will serve cheerfully and be hospitable. (Eph. 6:7-8, 1 Peter 4:8-9)
• Ask God to maintain peace, order, and supernatural protection over the day. (Isaiah 32:17-18, Psalm 121:5-8)
• Pray that every person who steps on our campus would feel welcome and encounter the love of God. (Col.3:12-14, Romans 5:5)
• Pray that people would have divine connections that create hunger for community. (Heb. 10:24-25, Acts 2:44-47, Acts 16:13-15)

Pray for the lost souls and prodigals in our region who need salvation.
“… He is long-suffering, extraordinarily patient toward you, not desiring that any should perish, but that all should turn to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9b
• Begin by asking the Lord to give you His heart for prodigals and lost people in our city. (John 3:16, Matt. 20:28, Romans 2:4)
• Pray for prodigals to come to their senses and be drawn back home to the Father’s house. (Luke 15:17-18, 2 Tim. 2:26)
• Ask the Lord to remove the veil off the minds of unbelievers in our city and draw them to Himself. (2 Cor. 4:3-4, Luke 15:4)
• Pray that prodigals and unbelievers attending services will be embraced and encounter God’s love and acceptance through His people. (Eph. 4:32, John 15:12)

Praise God for unity in every church assembly and oneness of spirit among Believer’s.
“Holy Father, protect them by the power of Your name, the name You gave me, so that they may be one as we are one.” John 17:11
• Pray that God’s people would be drawn together by a oneness of spirit (Eph. 4:1-6, Gal. 3:26-29)
• Declare that every assembly will be perfectly joined through our union with Jesus (1 Cor. 1:2,10, Eph. 4:13-16)
• Ask God to cause the unified voice of His Church to arise from our city (Romans 15:5-6, 2 Chron. 7:14)
• Pray for unity among churches that releases the impossible from heaven (Gen. 11:6)

Pray that the Word of God and the message of the cross will be shared and received with power in every church in the region.
“For the word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12
• Pray for a breaking up of the fallow ground of hearts (Hosea 10:12)
• Ask the Lord to open every heart and bring understanding (Eph. 1:17-18)
• Pray for the soil of every heart to receive the truth of Jesus as Savior (Luke 8:5-8, John 14:6)
• Pray for boldness to declare the truth of the gospel in every pulpit (Acts 28:31)
