Prayer Points - Bittersweet
(John 11:35, Joshua 1-5, Genesis 29:20-35, Ephesians 6:12, Acts 9:1-19)
- Holy Spirit, I welcome you, search me and know me, speak to me today.
- What emotions have I bottled up and carried around that You want me to surrender?
- I repent for setting my sight on the bitter things: the disappointments, complaints, frustrations, failures, and missed opportunities. I want to focus on the sweetness of life that is found in You.
- If all I have is your Holy Spirit, then I have more than enough; help me set my perspective on eternity.
- Lord, I understand that my actions tell the story of my life. Let my relationship with You be more than a Sunday service; give me a hunger for You that causes my actions to line up with my confession of belief.
- Father, I know that you have a plan for every person in my life; forgive me for counting people out because of my perception of them.
- Give me sight to see people the way You see them and to see myself the way You see me.
- Lord what have you already placed in me that you’re waiting for me to move on so that you can get the glory out of my life?
- Declare, “God has given me the keys to unlock freedom in the lives of those around me, and I will no longer keep them in my pocket.”
