Eternity & Beyond: Part 2

Jonna Gibson   -

Pastor reminded us that what we do with our salvation is our responsibility. So let’s run our race with the eternal prize in mind. Have a wonderful week!

Prayer Points – Eternity And Beyond Part 2 – Beyond The Grave

Scriptures – (Rom. 14:10-12, 2 Cor. 5:8-11, Luke 6:23, Matt. 16:27, Matt. 19:21, Luke 14:14, Eph. 2:8-10, John 5:22, 1 Cor. 9:24-27, 1 Cor. 3:9-15, Heb. 4:12, Luke 8:17-18, 2 Pet. 1:3-13)

Father, thank you for the gift of salvation we have been given through Christ Jesus. Take a moment and thank the Lord for His free gift of salvation, remember when He found you.
Today, we choose to take responsibility for the good works which God has prepared in advance for us to do. Father, we want You to look upon our lives and see how much we value the free gift of salvation. May You find evidence everywhere!
Forgive us for being self-serving. We know we have been saved on purpose, for a purpose. We commit to live our lives in gratitude for the price that has been paid!
Thank you for reminding us that what we do here and now matters for eternity. Forgive us for avoiding and not valuing accountability, surround us with iron sharpeners!
Holy Spirit, help us to run our race with purpose in every step, keeping our eye on the eternal prize. We want to run the race to WIN!
Forgive us for the times we have looked down on others. We know it is only through the Blood of Jesus we have been saved. May we always remember where we came from!
Lord, we know we have been bought with a price and because of that You have the right to inspect every area of our lives. Reveal to us the areas of our lives that have been built with inferior material. We want to live Godly lives!
Father, You are more concerned with motives than methods. Today, we invite You into the motives of our heart and ask You to show us what needs to die and be submitted to Christ.
The desire of our hearts is to do everything as unto the Lord, to be cheerful givers, to be good stewards in every area of our lives, to love the unlovable, and to be found faithful. Father, would You give us the grace to do all of these things!
Declare: “We will keep our eye on the prize and remember that our reward isn’t just here on the earth, it is also in heaven!”
