Scriptures – (Ps. 139:13-18, Phil. 4:6-7 Msg, Ps. 30:5, 1 Sam. 13:14, Heb. 5:14, Ps. 13:1-6, Ps. 51:5, Prov. 3:5-6, Micah 7:7, John 10:27, Neh. 8:10, Rom. 8:28)

  • Father, thank you for reminding us that when we find ourselves all mixed up in our emotions that You are the One who made us wonderfully complex. How precious are Your thoughts about us, O God.  They cannot be numbered.
  • We give You permission to have a seat in the seat of our minds and deal with, wrestle with, and speak to our emotions. We no longer want our emotions to have a grip on us.
  • We know that You make ALL things work together for our good. Forgive us for limiting what You can do with our night seasons.  You alone can take the darkest times of our lives and use them to form the purposes and callings that You have placed within us.
  • Today, we choose to make a conscious decision to remember that weeping may endure for a night, but that joy is always present, ready to rise-up, and can cut through all the emotions that seem to grip our minds.
  • Holy Spirit, teach us How to take authority over our thoughts by bringing every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. We say, “Yes” to having our senses exercised, we want to become mature adults!
  • Declare: “Today, I choose to live and praise God from a place of promise and not explanation. I choose to take ownership for my decision to be happy whether things change or not!”
  • Declare: “I may be concerned about somethings and situations, but I refuse to be consumed by them. Today I choose to focus on the Goodness Of God and remember ALL that He has done for me!”
  • Declare: “Today, I will look expectantly for the Lord and with confidence in Him I will keep watch; I will wait with confident expectation for the God of my salvation. I know that my God will hear me and He will answer me!”
  • Declare: “Today, I will trust in the Lord with all of my heart; I will not depend on my own understanding. I will seek his will in all that I do, and He will show me which path to take.
  • Declare: “Today, I choose to trust in God’s unfailing love for me. I will rejoice because He has rescued me.  I will sing to the Lord because He is good to me no matter what is going on!”
  • Declare: “The Spirit of God controls me, not my emotions. I will lean on the counsel of the Holy Spirit today, knowing that He will give me clarity for the future!”
