Sacrament: The Table
Pastor began a new series today, entitled ‘Sacrament,’ and introduced the significance of the Table to us. Thank you for being faithful to hold up the Word. Have a blessed week!
Prayer Points – Sacrament Series: The Table
(Luke 14:1-24, Jer. 31:33, Prov. 3:3, Ps. 119:11, 2 Cor. 3:3, Luke 7:34, Acts 2:42-47, Luke 22, Luke 24, Rev. 3:20)
• Father God, I thank you that your Spirit dwells within me and is with me everywhere I go.
• Forgive me for neglecting to invite you into spaces and places that I once was faithful to do so.
• Lord, I thank you for the reminder that it is from a seated position that you are able to bring about miracles. Cause me to rest in that same position while I believe for my miracle.
• God, I don’t just want to be an admirer of Your Word; I want it to transform my life! Cause me to always draw close to your tablet so that it can be ingrained in me.
• “I have stored up Your word in my heart, that I might not sin against God.” Psalm 119:11
• Ask the Holy Spirit for a scripture that needs to be ingrained in your heart, and commit to meditating on it throughout each day and memorizing it this week.
• Today, I will spend time writing your Word on my heart so that it becomes ingrained within me and changes my thoughts, feelings, and actions.
• It’s at the Table where I find relationships. Heal any area in my life that is keeping me from engaging in community with other followers of Jesus.
• Lord, when I’m at the Table with those who don’t know you, remind me to share the grace of your truth so that your redemptive love can draw them out of hiding.
• Lord, gather families back to the sacred space of the Table in the home where meaningful conversation and connection have room to take place.
