Eternity & Beyond: Part 4

Jonna Gibson   -

Pastor preached a stirring message on the five crown rewards in Heaven. As we hold up the word in prayer with the points below, let us remember his charge to pray for the nations of Israel, Iran, and America. Let’s pray in agreement that the spirit of Issachar would rest upon the leaders of our country and that every decision-making official would understand the times and know what to do.

Prayer Points – Rewarded & Crowned (2 Cor. 5:10, 1 Cor. 3:9-15, 1 Cor. 9:25-27, 1 Thess. 2:19-20, 2 Tim. 4:8, James 1:12-13, Rev. 2:8-10, 1 Cor. 10:13, 1 Peter 5:4-5, Heb. 13:7-8, James 3:1, Phil. 3:13-14, Phil. 3:7)

• Father God, I thank you for the shed blood of Jesus, the finished work of the cross, and the eternal gift of salvation that I did not deserve or earn. • I understand that what I do today matters for eternity. Everything I’ve built will be tested by fire, and so I ask the Holy Spirit to show me what I’m doing that has the most eternal impact and direct me away from what doesn’t.

• Jesus, I want to be found in the field laboring and bringing in the harvest. Show me faces, names, and places where I need to be to reach the lost. Make me bold and unashamed of the gospel outside the church walls!

• Pause for a moment and take inventory of your time, talents, and treasure. Holy Spirit, do these things and my habits align with your Kingdom Priorities or just selfish outcomes? Give me discernment and wisdom on how to steward the days ahead.

• God, I desire the crown of righteousness. Remind me when I go through things to GET BACK UP. When I keep pressing forward, I’m gaining eternal interest, so let fresh hope awaken in my spirit today! It was not for nothing!

• Jesus, you overcame every temptation, and I thank you that there is always a way of escape. When I find myself overwhelmed with trials, temptations, and tests, cause my eyes to keep looking for the strategy out. (Proverbs 24:16)

• I understand I’m given everything in seed form, so I ask for a greater desire to nurture, grow, and fully develop the gifts you’ve given to me. Let me not grow complacent because I haven’t valued the seed; reveal its potential.

• Lord, as I obey my leaders and submit to them with the understanding that they are keeping watch over my soul, cause me to make their load lighter and not heavier. (Hebrews 13:17)

• The cry of my heart is to be able to lay something at your feet. I want my life to be defined as one of self-sacrifice and devotion to service to you. • Declare, “Today I resolve in my heart to press toward the upward call of God. I abandon my former life and pursue life in Christ. I submit to your leading and training, Lord!”
