The Relationship Equation Part 5-Prayer Points

Jonna Gibson   -

Here are the prayer points to Pastor Don’s sermon.  Pastor reminded us that how we approach relationships is vital and that friendships should be reciprocal.  He also reminded us that we are responsible for learning how to recognize the prophetic moments that are happening.  We encourage you to remember that growth is a journey and relationships are key to growth.

Prayer Points – The Relationship Equation – Part 5 Two Men – One Kingdom Purpose – (2 Kings 2:8-14, John 10:10, 1 Kings 19:9 &19-20, Prov. 27:17, Gen. 26:12, John 15:14, 2 Kings 13:14-20, Acts 4:13, 1 Sam. 15:22)

  • Father, thank you for giving us the opportunity to evaluate how we have been doing relationships. If we have been doing relationships transactionally, forgive us.  Teach us how to do them reciprocally.
  • Show us the purposes and assignments that You are giving us through relationships that go beyond what we can see and know.
  • Today, we choose to practice silent watchfulness and position ourselves to catch a glimpse of Your goodness once again. Declare “I will work my way back into refreshment by encouraging myself in the Lord and remembering ALL the times He has given me victory!”
  • Help us understand the value of the moment we are in. We want to understand the magnitude of what You are doing in a moment, and we want to learn how to lean into the anointing that is in the room.   Declare “I will take responsibility for defining the significance of a prophetic moment!”
  • Father, because we are anticipating a harvest, we choose to no longer allow the famine we may be in to stop us from planting seeds of kindness, generosity, mercy, grace, love, and forgiveness. We choose to plant even when the conditions aren’t right!
  • Forgive us for not valuing the purpose of the process, thank you for reminding us that understanding is cultivated over time. Declare “I’m not staying where I’m at, when I can go from glory to glory!”
  • Today, we choose to let the process of the journey of pursuit mature us enough to see the value of what is on our own lives first (giftings, talents, abilities, anointings) and allow it to teach us what to ask for. Declare “I will not allow discouragement, fear, or rejection to stop my pursuit!”
  • Holy Spirit, help us to keep our eyes on Jesus through the journey of growing into what He has prepared for us. We know that we validate the life and ministry of Jesus when we live for Him and obey Him.
  • Forgive us for wanting the anointing without the requirement of growth. Give us the courage to stay when we want to run, to stand still when we are not sure, and to do what Jesus is asking us to do because we want to be called His friend.
  • Declare “I will recognize the power of the relationships Jesus is bringing into my life!”
  • Declare “I will recognize prophetic moments that are in the atmosphere!”
  • Declare “I am willing to grow into the moment!”
