The Kingdom Culture
Pastor reminded us that as Kings Kids we are called to reflect The Kingdom of God and not the kingdom of this world in our daily living. We encourage you to go out and be salt and light to those around you, so that they can taste and see that the Lord is good.
Prayer Points – The Culture Of The Kingdom – The Kingdom Message #2
Scriptures – (Mark 1:14-15, Matt. 3:1-3, Luke 9:11-12, Acts 28:30-31, John 3:3 & 5, Gen. 1:26-31, Gen. 2:15, Luke 12:31-32, Luke 19:10 & 13, Rom. 12:1-2)
- Father, thank you for giving us the opportunity to fully understand that multiplication can only happen when we understand The Kingdom of God.
- Forgive us for forgetting that we are called to execute and represent The Kingdom of God outside the four walls of the church in our daily lives.
- We know that we cannot expand God’s Kingdom unless it first begins in our own hearts. We can’t subdue the earth unless Jesus is Lord over every area of our lives. (Take a moment and ask Holy Spirit if there is any area of your life that needs to be submitted to the Lordship of Jesus.)
- Father, thank you for reminding us that it takes time to act like a Kings Kid. Would You give us the grace to walk this out with You daily until we fully embrace this truth in our thinking, speaking, and living.
- We say “Yes” to the invitation to participate and live in The Kingdom of God by embracing The Culture of The Kingdom (valuing people, loving servitude, defending unity, living out the Gospel, and submitting to God’s will). Declare: “This is the way we do it here!! We have a different culture! It’s never not my job to expand The Kingdom of God one heart, one person, one family at a time!
- Lord, let The Kingdom of God expand within us so much that it overflows into the hearts and lives of our families, friends, communities, workplaces, and businesses. We lay down our preferences and traditions to see Your Kingdom come NOW and Your will be done NOW on the earth as it is in heaven.
- Lord, You have called us to be Salt & Light in this world. Teach us how to enhance and not over flavor the relationships You have given us to influence. We want people to be able to taste and see that You are good.
- Holy Spirit, would You remind us to take our everyday, ordinary lives – our sleeping, eating, going-to-work, walking around lives and place it before God as an offering daily. We want to fully embrace what God has does for us by not fitting into the culture around us.
- Open our eyes to see things differently as we fix our attention on You. We want to readily recognize what You want from us and quickly respond to it. We acknowledge that only God can bring the best out of us and that He alone develops well-formed maturity in us. We say “Yes” to letting Him call the shots!”
- Take a moment and place your hands on your eyes, ears, and hearts: Declare, “My eyes, my ears, and my heart are open to The Kingdom of God!”
