Family Fight: 3 Days of Prayer & Fasting

As you spend your time in fasting and prayer, let’s be reminded that 1 Timothy 6:12 tells us we are engaged in a good fight of faith! The enemy wants us to become discouraged in the fight, but God strengthens us by His spirit! In Nehemiah 4:14, the people were encouraged not to be afraid of the enemy, but to remember the Lord, who is great and awesome! Nehemiah said, “Fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives and your houses”! The people kept their focus on the strength of God and the wall of protection was built. We are praying for ALL families—not only our own, but also those in our church and community. 1 Corinthians 16:13-14 says, “Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. Let all that you do be done with love.” Let’s come together in unity and fight for all families in faith, bravery and strength. The family is worth fighting for!
