The Power of Prayer
We believe everyone who knows Jesus Christ can pray. The Word tells us “Men ought always to pray and not lose heart.” (Luke 18:1) This requires not giving up in seeking God’s will, agenda, and purpose.
To pray – this is the right and privilege of every child of God.
To have His heart – this is the relationship and perspective.
We spend time in the place of prayer to lay down our offenses, opinions, and rights, and then carry out His revelation and strategy – agreeing with His heart for every time, season, and matter.
Prayer is not merely doing the right thing. Instead, when we operate in the fulfillment of relationship, we see properly to become men and women of service, honor, brokenness, and humility; and we effect change for our personal lives, families, churches, communities, and nations.
Prayer Team Director
Welcome to our prayer team page! Prayer is a fundamental part of MercyGate Church. 2 Chronicles 7 says “when My people pray” and since we are His people, we believe in coming together in prayer. We have several ways you can join us in prayer. If you have questions about prayer, our beliefs, or have a heart for prayer and would like to serve in that capacity, I would love to connect with you.
