“And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart. And I will put my Spirit in you so that you will follow my decrees and be careful to obey my regulations.” Ezekiel 36:26-27 NLT

  • We thank you for the mighty power of your Holy Spirit and we ask that your Spirit would hover over Israel, just as it did in Creation. May our prayers act as ‘salt’ (to preserve and protect) and ‘light’ (for revelation and understanding) for the nation.
  • We pray for the ‘heart’ of Israel. We ask that you would fulfill your word by releasing a new heart into Her people–a heart that abandons tradition and seeks out your truth.

“For this reason the Lord is ready to show you mercy; he sits on his throne, ready to have compassion on you. Indeed, the Lord is a just God; all who wait for him in faith will be blessed. For people will live in Zion; In Jerusalem you will weep no more. When he hears your cry of despair, he will indeed show you mercy; when he hears it, he will respond to you.”  Isaiah 30:18-19 NET

  • We are grateful that regardless of what we see or do not see, we have assurance that you sit on the throne of power concerning Israel, and you rule over all nations who rage against her.
  • You are just and true in all your ways. We pray that Israel and her people will be established in your holy justice. May the truth of Jesus, the Messiah, flood their hearts and minds.
  • We cling to the promises of your blessing upon Israel, and pray that the time of waiting would come to an end, as their faith turns to the Risen Savior, Jesus.
  • May our prayers and intercession create an opening of revelation for the Jewish people to walk in the full light of your truth.
  • We know you respond to the cries of your people. Where there has been weeping, sorrow and despair in the nation of Israel, we ask for an exchange of victory, joy and rejoicing in her streets and fields. May all things be made new!

“I call on You, my God, for You will answer me; turn your ear to me and hear my prayer. Show me the wonders of Your great love, You who save by Your right hand those who take refuge in You from their foes. Keep me as the apple of Your eye; hide me in the shadow of Your wings from the wicked who are out to destroy me, from my mortal enemies who surround me.”  Psalm 17:6-9 NIV

  • We pray that Your gaze would continually be upon Israel and that You would keep Her as the apple of Your eye.
  • We ask You to cover and hide Israel in the shadow of Your wings and protect them from every evil plan and attack.
  •  We pray for peace and protection on every side, and we declare over Israel: “Let God arise and your enemies be scattered!”

“For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not be quiet, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a burning torch. The nations shall see your righteousness, and all the kings your glory, and you shall be called by a new name that the mouth of the Lord will give. You shall be a crown of beauty in the hand of the Lord and a royal diadem in the hand of your God. You shall no more be termed ‘Forsaken’, and your land shall no more be termed ‘Desolate’, but you shall be called ‘My Delight is in Her’, and your land ‘Married’; for the Lord delights in you, and your land shall be married.” Isaiah 62:1-4 ESV

Prayer Points:

  • Father, put a passion in our hearts for Israel that compels us to continually cry out for her peace and safety.
  • May we never grow silent in our prayers for the nation—let us call out night and day, for the righteousness of Israel to shine forth as a light to the world.
  • We ask that Jesus, The Light of the World, would be seen and recognized as the One true Messiah in the nation of Israel.
  • We declare that all nations will see the righteousness of Israel.
  • We declare that a new name is coming for Israel. What has been said of her by her enemies will be turned and no longer will her adversaries deny the worth and value of the nation.
  • We thank You for the covenant You’ve spoken over Israel. We long to see her crowned with the beauty of Your salvation, through the blood of Jesus.

  • We pray to the One Who never slumbers, and ask that You will bless the efforts to stop the virus from spreading in Israel. Bless the Jewish people with wisdom and knowledge.

  • Just are You are alert and always working, we ask You to bring greater advancements to Israel in the treatment and development of a vaccine.
  • You are the Keeper of Israel, so we pray for protection for those on the frontlines in this battle – from doctors and nurses, to all medical staff and first responders, as well as those working in essential jobs.
  • Father, You are ‘shade’ to the Jewish people. May they be drawn into Your covering and find their peace and hope in Jesus, the Messiah. Heal every person who has been affected and restore them to health.

I ask–ask The God of our Master, Jesus Christ, the God of glory–to make you intelligent and discerning in knowing Him personally, your eyes focused and clear, so that you can see exactly what it is He is calling you to do, grasp the immensity of this glorious way of life He has for His followers…”

2 Corinthians 3:14-17 NLT “But the people’s minds were hardened, and to this day whenever the old covenant is being read, the same veil covers their minds so they cannot understand truth. And this veil can be removed only by believing in Christ. Yes, even today when they read Moses’ writings, their hearts are covered with that veil, and they do not understand. But whenever someone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. For The Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of The Lord is, there is freedom.”
